Since Maddie has taking a real interest in our food we have gone from milk, to rice cereal to now baby food! So far she has tried applesauce, pears, bananas, and sweet potatoes. As you can she loves the sweet potatoes. We had sweet potatoes from head to toe. She lives up to her name "Chunky Monkey"!

We even had sweet potatoes up the nose!

They grow so fast, don't they? I had to laugh at the "Chunkey Monkey" name. That's what we called Calli when she was a babe. If you can believe that because she is now so slim! She weighed 20 lbs at 6months! All my other babies were tiny compared to her! Ask Josh to sing the "Chunk" song that we use to sing to Calli when she was a babe.
Times, they are a changin' here in our house. Gone are the days of looking for baby food sales at Shaws.....now it's finding a great winter coat at a yardsale or hitting the clearance rack for next year's swimsuit. Gone are the days of pre-treating laundry to get the poop stain out of the onesie! Now it's grabbing the band-aids for the newest road rash burn from bike riding. Oh hold her tight and enjoy this sweet time. As "Carter's" says : "Only One Year"
