First time eating cereal

During the last week or so we have noticed that when eat Maddie starts to move her mouth like she is eating. So at her 4month apt I asked if it was okay to start her on cereal and we got the green light. I have started her on rice cereal and she has sucked it down since the first spoon full.

When Dad is gone

Since Josh travels a lot Maddie likes to keep his spot in bed warm. She loves to cuddle when it is night time. Which I would cuddle with her all night if I could. I already miss the new born stage when she loved to cuddle all day long. Now she is become miss independent and wants to sit up on her own and hold her own bottle.


She is getting really good at sitting up in her high chair. One night after dinner I finally got her hair into a pony tail. It is really small but very cute!

Catching Up

So I have been really bad about writing for awhile. Maddie is growing like a weed! She had her 4 month apt last week and was weighing in at 15.55lbs and is 26.25 inches long. She has caught her first cold which has her pretty stuffy but she is still really happy all the time.

She went apple picking for the first time a couple of weeks ago. She had fun with everyone both days that she went. She even got a few pumpkins for halloween.

Love Bug

Since Halloween is in 30 Days we had to find Maddie a custom. I didn't want to spend a ton of money because she isn't going to care what she is wearing and she doesn't love wearing a lot of clothes especially when she has to be her carseat. I decided she would be a Lady Bug. Carter's makes little customes that are perfect for babies. We tried it on last night and she is a "Love Bug"!

She also had a rough morning. I had to wake her up at 5:30 to eat breakfast and then I put her down to play and this is how I found her.It is a rough life she has!
